WHY SHOULD YOU GO TO STAKE YOUTH CONFERENCE?
The purpose of Stake Youth Conference is to build faith in Jesus Christ and strengthen relationships with God and others. By participating in fun activities, learning experiences, inspirational classes, and interaction with other young disciples of Christ you will develop talents, make new friends, and build your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. You will grow spiritually and socially with those who share the same beliefs and standards as you do. All of this will create spirit-felt memories that will last a lifetime!

PETER VIDMAR
GENERAL YOUNG MEN’S COUNCIL
Peter Glen Vidmar grew up in southern California and graduated from UCLA with an Economics degree. He also participated in the 1984 Olympic Games where he won 3 Gold Medals in gymnastics. Brother Vidmar has enjoyed a professional career as a motivational speaker for corporate meetings and events. His church service includes serving as a public affairs specialist, seminary teacher, bishop, stake presidency counselor, and mission president in the Australia Melbourne mission. He currently is serving as a member of the General Young Men’s Council for the church.
He has volunteered at a number of sports and community organizations. Brother Vidmar and his wife, Donna Marie Harris Vidmar, have five children and an increasing number of grandchildren. They reside in Heber City, Utah.
